This family has been recommended by Wellspring House.

In many ways, little B is like any other six-year-old boy – he loves baseball, his two sisters, and watching the garbage truck. But B is not a normal six year old. He suffers from two forms of epilepsy that stunt his development, impairing his language, memory, cognition, and motor skills. B has suffered from seizures since he was 13 months old, but recently his condition has been getting worse. B’s family clings to a dream of a healthy home despite the fact that treatments are failing.

And while B’s family is employed, they are no longer able to pay for new therapies that could be successful. As B’s seizures are becoming more frequent, the family is seeking help from state representatives and advocating for more health coverage since they are now having trouble paying their rent and utilities.

Just $1,000 by September 20th will put this family in a financially secure place, capable of paying their bills while simultaneously providing for B’s medical needs. This family’s dream of a healthy home is within reach. What can you do to help?
