Little C has been one lucky guy. Almost 5, he has a loving family that includes two dedicated parents and an older sister. They love spending time together and enjoy outings to places like the New England Aquarium.
Last February, though, Little C was diagnosed with T-Cell ALL, a type of acute leukemia. His extensive treatment included a two month hospital stay.
Despite being gravely ill, Little C pulled through and is in remission. The family’s time together is spent at home to protect Little C and his fragile immune system from germs, but they are grateful that he has survived and look forward to resuming a normal life.
Unfortunately, Little C’s parents cannot focus all of their energy on this goal. His mom quit her job so that she could stay with him while he was in the hospital. His dad receives disability payments, which are their sole source of income. Their car was repossessed and they bought an older vehicle in need of work in order to get Little C to and from his appointments with doctors. Although they have made the necessary repairs, they have fallen behind on rent and utility bills. This family is now faced with the possibility of losing their home.
They are trying to catch up, but they need help. $1400 will enable them to get their finances back on track and focus fully on their family. What can you do?
