In-kind giving

Small Can Be Big gratefully accepts help above and beyond donations of cash and time. “In-kind” donations we’ve received include:

  • Berklee College of Music band Abstract Scenario put on a show with other local acts titled 'You Are Loved' to benefit Small Can Be Big family
  • The annual commitment of time, talent, and resources from Boathouse
  • An awesome poster by artist Jonathan Bartlett which was sold to raise money for families
  • Our holiday CD, 'Our Finest Gifts: Happy Holidays from the Greater Boston Music Scene', created by volunteer musicians
  • A donation from local burger chain B. Good, which one day sold $1 shakes with 100% of the proceeds donated to Small Can Be Big families
  •  Hulu, who ran our commercial free of charge for a year
  •  Elephant Walk restaurants, who for the last three years have donated 3% of monthly sales to non-profits fighting aspects of poverty in the month of September

Do you have an in-kind gift you'd like to make? Get in touch and tell us about it.

Not sure who to help? Give to the General Fund

At Small Can Be Big, failure isn’t an option: all of our families receive help from us. So when a family is unable to meet their goal in time, we draw on the General Fund to make up the shortfall. Any size gift will help.
